As of September 30, 2020 we have removed the requirement for text verification for the BTZ Wallet, as well as the need for a PIN code in order to send BTZ. If you are receiving an error code or a prompt to update your app, please do so!
You will still need to confirm the user you are sending to is correct, as well as the amount of BTZ you want to send before you send them
Your BTZ wallet remains secure within your account, so long as your password isn't 'password1234'
We made this change as we found that the need for text verification became a barrier to access for new account creation for those who may not have a mobile number attached to a well-known network. This change makes BTZ more accessible to all and easier to transact with!
